Meet the Tutors

  • Founder/Tutor

    Kavi Subramanyan is a 3rd year student at Northwestern University pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. He started tutoring in his sophomore year of high school and has since tutored students of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally he has TAing experience with the Kellogg School of Management. In his free time, Kavi enjoys reading, making music and DJing.

    Catarina Peixoto is a third year Northwestern student studying journalism and on the pre-med track. Catarina has always had a big passion for STEM and has prized in various national and international physics and math olympiads in her hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While in high school Catarina started a program that taught math to underrepresented girls in Rio. Outside of academics, Catarina loves music, running, and the NYT crosswords.

    Ian Viegas is a third-year student at Northwestern University pursuing a double major in Mechanical Engineering (with a concentration in Energy & Sustainability) and Economics. His professional goals include pursuing a career in financial services and he plans to intern in investment banking this coming summer. Through his education at the secondary school and higher education level, he is highly experienced in fields including algebra, geometry, linear algebra, and single & multi-variable calculus. In his free time, Ian enjoys skiing on the East coast, playing tennis, and following Formula 1 racing.
